These colleges traditionally accept only 10% of those who apply. So, your odds are 1 in 10. Realizing that probably only 1 in 1000 students (or maybe less) even bother to apply to the Ivy League you realize that your challenge is even larger.

It's darned difficult.

One my bestfriends is the daughter of a head leader in Harvard. She has a horrible gpa, but still could get in because of sat scores. Also she goes to a great high performence highschool. It all depends on ur situation sometimes gpa or sat scores, isnt what matters all the time.

It's very hard, considering they get their pick of top applicants.

Applying early decision can help (for those with that option) but this assumes you have the requisite "credentials."
