Yep he's still around after breaking the world record for selling the most gig tickets in 2006 after selling more than 1.6 million concert tickets. So yes. He is still making music :)

I think he's suffering from his own success. He's grown up in an insane world of hard work and screaming fans. There's this tremendous hurt and sadness in his eyes and neither addictions nor flocks of flings can make that go away.
In a way all of us thirty-something men and women can relate to that search for our sense of purpose and a soulmate to share our life with.
For some reason he seems like such a lonely person chasing something he can't grasp unless he goes through some changes. I think he needs to travel anonymously and visit challenging countries and spend time soul searching. Be among "ordinary" people without a lens picking up on his every move. He could do with a sabbatical and just enjoy life and the simple things it has to offer.
(Just in case he might read this: "romantic" relationships are overrated, friendship and a secure sense of self are what it's all about in life; please remember life is worth living no matter what!) Maybe he might take time out and talk to some sensible well wishers on line. It would be quite an interesting experiment. So who knows...

well i dont know what his like for real, but i saw some thing he was on and he came across so big headed, and didnt come across that nice, and some of his songs are ok, i think his out of it now though.
