There have been two "holocausts" in recent history. The first was the holocaust against the Ukraine, wherein 6 million Ukrainians were murdered by the Judeo-Communist Soviet Union. The second holocaust is the on-going genocide being committed against Palestinians by Israel. Other than these two, there have been no holocausts in recent history - only a "hoaxocaust."

So who decided Mel Gibson's father was an expert on anything? People are trying to deny the Holocaust because they hate the Jews. Of all the races on earth the one most hated is the Jew. I have no idea why. The only explanation I have ever heard was that the Jews crucified Jesus. What is always forgotten is that Jesus was a Jew. The murder of 6,000,000 Jews plus about 2,000,000 others at the hands of the Germans is fact and those in denial need to realize this.

Ok, did you actually talk to Mel Gibson's father and hear him say that he denies the Holocaust happened? ( I think it is wrong to assume something about someone if you didn't actually hear them say it...but that is another question)
People deny it because of the racism instilled in them. It is a documented event leaving no doubt that it did indeed happen. Those in denial are sorry souls.

Holocaust denial is part of a calculated plan by extremist groups to provide respectability to Nazism and Fascism as political movements for the future.

In their eyes, such "rehabilitation" has been prevented by the taint of the Holocaust, so they regularly question the established history of the Nazi regime with the intent of putting doubt in the minds of many about the facts of the Holocaust.

By framing their attacks on the Holocaust as merely unorthodox points of view, these propagandists promote subtle but hateful anti-Semitic images of Jews as exploiters of non-Jewish guilt (especially concerning the establishment of the State of Israel) and controllers of academia or the media.

Returning question: If the Holocaust is false then why are so many people dead, careers dedicated to it (Nazi Hunters), documentaries written, and children getting taught about it from their HISTORY TEXTBOOKS?
Returning Question: Why would anyone care what Mel Gibson's father's beliefs are!?!

. . . and what makes Mel Gibson's father an authority? There are people who will deny anything, no matter what the facts -- our current "leader," George W. Bush, is a perfect example!

Its just a ploy by religious extremist to deny Jewish people. Most people trust the words of the bible word for word. When in reality they are stories passed down. And as you know if you have played the telephone game. Those stories get twisted by each passing ear. So This is just a great example of extreme Christians & muslums, trying to make anti semitism ok. They are trying to make their own hatred for another ok. By making up a lie. My great grandfather fought in that war, it happianed. He told me stories of what went on. His eyes did not lie. There is a holy war going on in some peoples minds right now. Don't buy into this idea. There is after all extremist in ever religion, and they will make up anything. Just to have more followers.

Why? That's an easy answer. The same reason people believe in gods that control their lives, the same reason that people think that their race is superior to other races, the same reason that people hate. The reasons are not explainable in any true sense, but the lack of common sense. In many cases it was what they were taught by their family and friends and they excepted without question. Again accepting things without question demonstrates a lack of common sense.
