As someone who volunteers with Special Olympics, I think it is tasteless to use this wonderful organization that does so much for so many as a ridiculous jab at our President.

If you would see the kind and brave people who are part of Special Olympics, maybe you would think twice about making them the butt of a bad political joke.

Our President is at least entitled to the respect due to his office, and the people involved in Special Olympics are more caring and intelligent than some of the people on this forum.

Did you get your info from Lou Dobbs again? The Democratic primaries in 08 will be the Special Olympics.

I help out with the Special Olympics each year and Bush would never make the team. Those kids really have heart.

Yes, he heard there will be a lot of vacancies now that previous team members will take office in January. (Of course we have both just slandered the real participants in a terrible way, by comparing them to politicians!)

He is not qualified the people involved in special Olympics are hard working dedicated individuals who have had to overcome adversity in so many different aspects of their lives please don't try to put them down to his level they deserve better

Aaahhh. A nother lib that will tell everyone else to be "sensitive" to minorities and disabled and so much other "advice", while not touching them themselves with their little fingure.
