breathing problems are a known symptoms. but i am just curious as to why. the ovary seems so far away from the lungs and it seems strange that type of cancer would effect breathing. anyone know anything about this?

My husband's cousin died from Ovarian Cancer. She didin't go to the doctor until she started having breathing problems, shortness of breath. I don't know whey you would have breathing problems with ovarian cancer except if some of the cancer cells were in the lungs. She was pretty far advanced when she was diagnosed. She lived about 1 1/2 years after her diagnosis.

Go to your search bar and type in "shortness of breath in cervical cancer". I just went through some of the sites - scroll down to #3 I Feel Short of Breath and read through it. Check out the other sites also. You can get shortness of breath from just about all cancers but it also may be from the treatment you are receiving, or an unrelated problem. The term for it is Dyspnea. Good Luck!

i wouldn't think one has anything to do with the other, unless the stress from knowing that one has cancer can cause alot of other complications.
