As long as you don't carry youre other baby too much you won't do any harm but don't make a habit of it.
Limit the times he is carried or get him a buggy.
If you carry him too much you could hurt your back.
I imagine youre back is probably hurting quite a bit already and if your back is bad it will make the birth quite difficult so it is ok to an extent but I wouldn't try holding him for more than 5 minutes at a time.
good luck with your little ones xx

I think that your baby will be fine, just think, generations ago women used to work in fields while pregnant with a baby in one arm and everything worked out just fine (I'm not suggesting that you do this of course). What I do suggest is getting an umbrella stroller for when you are out with your son, that way you at least have the option of setting him down when you go out. And know your limits, if your back is hurting or you feel like you are straining too much and it's really uncomfortable on your stomach, don't lift him. Your intuition will tell you when you need to quit carrying your big boy :)

It might cause stress on your the farther along you get, and your doctor will probably advise you against lifting the child... but in most cases its just not practical, since you cant just stop being mom.
You'll have to take things at your own pace, and pay attention to how your body is feeling. Encouraging him to walk on his own, and pushing him in a stroller, and sitting to hold him instead of carrying him, it probably going to be your best bet.
Generally the weight limit is 25 pounds when pregnant. But like I said... its just not practical when you're mom to another child. You jsut dont want to encourage preterm labor, or damage your own body from the weight and stress of lifting and carrying.
keep your doctor informed of all weird happenings, and ask him at visits what you should or shouldnt do when it comes to this matter.

You should be fine. My doctor told me when I was pregnant with my daughter that as long at it is a health pregnancy you can to anything you did before you got pregnant. Lift weights what ever just don't start doing more then you did before. You don't have to stop carry your baby. But as always check with your doctor just to be sure.

Yes it's fine, You're used to carrying your son so it wouldn't be a strain for you, it'd just be a normal day. I had no choice but to do this as my son was also about the same age when his baby brother was born. Baby number two came out fighting fit and the day after I gave birth I was decorating my bedroom so didn't do either of us any harm.

As long as you feel fine, you can definetly continue to carry your baby. I babysat throughout my pregnancy for a two year old and a three year old, who also expected to get picked up. Just don't overdue it. As you hit the end of pregnancy you have to be more careful about causing pre-mature labor. Another thing is to start getting your toddler used to not being picked up so much. When you have the baby you won't be able to pick him up, if you work on it now he won't feel that you aren't picking up because of the baby.

Ask your Prenatal. I was not allowed to carry or lift over 5 lbs. at any time in my two pregnancies, but then both of them were high risk. My sisters never seemed to have that problem, and they would carry the toddlers on their hip.

YOu should be fine, as long as your not stuggling or your doctor has told you not to carry anything. I am sure many mother s have been in this stiuation (including me) and baby was fine. There is plenty of protection inside, my kids liked it because it was like a seat.
