Illinois, Indiana and Iowa have many locations. Iowa even has Geode State Park near Burlington. Illinois is rich in geodes in a region known as Crystal Glen Creek. The river rock in these states are rich in geodes if you have the patience to search.

I have found hundreds of geodes in Southern Indiana, not far from the limestone quarries.

Well anywhere there is a geode has or is a volcanic area. You need volcanos to make them.

Northern indiana. again like last guy said. I found some the size of a bowling ball by a limestone quary. Or you can buy them online :)
