Animal testing is bad. You know when they test something like eye makeup, they don't just put it on the animal, they pin it's eye open and put it every where including in the eye. If they are using a cow to test food they food is inserted in the cow and it's somach is on display. It is really sickning. I say if you want to wear eye makeup and eat different foods, have people test it. We are already pretty sure about the ingredients in these things.
On the flip side. Medications for cancer and other things that kill us must be tested and we are not sure about what will kill us or not, so it is important we test on animals. It is very sad, but it is a nessesary evil.
In short, we have enough kinds of eyshadow and other beauty product, not need to torture animals. However, if it will save a childs life that is a whole other story.

Animal testing has helped save so many lifes by finding different kinds of medicines. Also there is a huge population of certain animals like rats. It doesnt hurt to get rid of a few.

I have to say that I don't like it, however, I know that it is necessary in a lot of situations. For example, if scientists invent a new cancer drug, I wouldn't have a problem with them doing the initial testing on rats or monkeys, if it could save millions of human lives.

I am completely against harming animals in any way. Testing products on animals is wrong in my opinion, because for one the product will effect animals differently then it will effect humans. We have different chemical make-up. Also animals might die from getting certain chemicals on their skin. Just my opinion, hope it helps.

I honestly think it's a good idea in some cases... But I love animals too much. If I let myself think about it too much, I get sad... It's really up in the air for me :)

If the testing is for drugs that may save human life I say test away.
If the testing is for crap like cosmetics I'm against it.

Well, as long as you teach them the material before you test them on it. It wouldn't be fair if you tested them on something and hadn't taught them anything about it. If you teach them first, I'm all for animal testing.
