I want to know what is the best every day fountain pen to buy.
Are parker good or bad?
Has anyone heard of Cross pens?

i have always preferred parker pens, and have had two or three fountain pens that gave me good results. their other products are very good, too. i have a set of cross pens i received as a gift, but there isn't a fountain pen included.

The best pen I have ever owned was The La Modernista fountain pen.

I recommend a Lamy Safari, made in Germany, available at www.pendemonium.com. You'll need a converter to use bottle ink. And I recommend you try Noodler's bulletproof ink (permanent, waterproof) too. Same site.
