They both are gross and losers, but try using the correct words.

I refered to Foley as a pedophile too, but I just did it to try and aggravate people.

Why should you expect a "Thumbs down"? You had the guts to bring the subject forward in an intelligent manner. Age is a factor in more ways than one. A non gay male in his 40's would think it perfectly natural to be attracted to an attractive 17 year old girl, yet the same guy would condemn someone his age being attracted to a 17 yr old good looking guy. I admit there are 17 yr olds of both sexes that have lived a very innocent life and can not be thought of in the same way as a sexually active& aware 17 yr old. It's a fine line.

Technically, no they are not pedophiles. The strange thing is, that if either of them were in certain states, what they did would have been considered legal. Its about the age of consent. It is not a national thing. NYS for example the age is 17

Actually....according to Wikipedia...it seems that both usages are correct.

I agree though, people should get facts straight. I don't' condone what he did, but one should at least know the facts of the case.

it doesn't matter what you call yourselves. Being a pedophile is akin to being a sexual predator. Even trying to justify it to yourself is the first step to abducting and defacing a child.
