My greatest fear is that the combination of Moore's Law and the internet will facilitate artifical intelligence that far surpasses collective human intelligence. Then, the machines will have evolved beyond people and will seek to destroy us.

The greatest fear would be identity theft, but I just pray for all of those people starting internet relationships and walking away from marraiges based upon the words of another and never having experienced any of those words. Lives have been and still will be destroyed over someone trying to be something they are not.

that I might get close to someone through the Internet, while I really don't know who is behind the other computer - maybe it is a rapist/murderer or just a maniac.
