LIke everyone else stated, it depends on the location you live. It sounds good to me, but then again I don't live in CA and I don't know what area of CA you're in.

It also depends on how long you've been at the company, how long you've had that career, etc.

check locals in the area to get an idea of the what the average is in your area and go from there.

Put into account where you live and work. I was paid more in NJ than PA for the same job. The income level in NJ was higher than the area of PA I worked. Same job and work, different salaries. But the cost of living was cheaper in PA so it all equaled out. Call the HR department of your company and find out what the average starting salary and current salary of your position is. They will be able to give an average and it will let you know where you fall.

What part of the USA or world do you live in? Rural alabama will be different than NY City.

Have you looked at salary.com this is a good way to check.
