No, Sjean, Americans are not always appeasing China.

It's just that we have a large group of people who tell us that a dictator who kills 1.2 million people, who starves mass numbers of his people, who oppresses them for political and religious reasons, shouldn't be removed by force. It's not important enough to risk American lives.

Since 1946 Tibet has been under occupation by the Chinese who have used the excuse that they invaded to stop a Tibettan protest and uprising. At that time, the titular head of the Tibettan government, the Dalai Lama had to flee Tibet for his life. He now heads the Tibettan government in exile on the Pakistan side of the Tibet - Pakistan border. So far he is the only person to try to bring this tragedy to the attention of the world's leaders through political dialogue. Try and get a copy of The Art of Happiness written by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and this will help you understand this tragedy from his point of view. You should be able to find a copy in your library. There are also copies of his biography which should be helpful.

Nobody that I know of. American are always appeasing China since 90% of the things we buy are manufactured in China.

India has helped by giving some Tibetan refugees a home.
