That is not accurate. (Cockroaches can tolerate a great deal of radiation, by the way.)

I would ignore it. Tinfoil reacts because it is metal and conductive. A cockraoch is more like meat which the microwave is intended to cook.
Don't believe what the radio says.

i don't know, i never tried to microwave a cockroach. i have microwaved tin foil though. try it!!! lol.

I think they would live-
2 days ago I microwaved a couple ants (they took over the kitchen this week...gone now) by accident for 2 minutes....they lived. I was shocked.

haha umm yeah I live in a dorm and if that blows up, I'm screwed ;-) Well I know cockroaches are the only things that can survive a nuclear explosion..maybe that has something to do with it...?
