Do these people think WWII never happened. What do they think happened to all of the Jews who were killed? If it never happened, what was the war about?

I'm never sure whether they actually believe it never happened or whether they just say they do because that better fits their mind-set. (Using the word mind loosely).

The fact remains that, whenever you scratch a holocaust denier, you find an anti-semite and/or a neo-nazi underneath.

I answered a similar question this morning. The simple reason that some deny the holocaust is they are illiterate. For proof, read the transcripts of the Nuremberg tribunals. There, Nazis confessed to carrying out 'the final solution', some even boasted of it. There is no doubt it happened.

Others say it didn't happen for a far worse and much more sinister reason. Like Akband, they are Muslims, extremist Muslims who support the Iranian cry that Israel must be destroyed. They have to whitewash the Nazis because they want to do exactly what the Nazis tried to do. These people want to eradicate the Jews. They are every bit as evil as the Nazis.

The only reason the question keeps cropping up is because these evil, would be Nazis do not listen to reason, they deny the proof, the conclusive proof because it does not fit in with the view of the world they want. Bigots like Akband do not like facts, they tend to disprove the bigotry they have in their hearts. Facts are awkward when you blindly follow an evil ideology.

It is unbelievable that some people think that the Holocaust didn't happen, like the leader of Iran. In Germany, it is a crime to deny the fact that the Holocaust happened. I do not know what those people think.

The war was about Hitler occupying the entire world, when you will kill innocent Palestinians, Iraqians, Afghans then the retaliation will come in some form either true or false. If what the Muslims are saying is untrue then why are there so many questions about the Holocaust on Yahoo answers

Yes, that is correct. Many, many Muslim extremists in Iraq, Iran and Palestine do not believe that the Holocaust ever happened and some even praise Hitler for being a 'peacemaking dictator'. It's a bunch of BS.

Then the millions of people that died during the holocaust, I guess they are just hiding.

Anne Frank might still be alive, around 65 but alive.

You are so right about pointing this out. It is incredible that still today there are so many ignorant people who live in denial.

Yes in some cultures, the Holocaust is intentionally overlooked in education.

MAny people believe what they want to believe. A perfect example the current situation in Iraq. The reason for the invasion has changed at least twice. Still, almost 40% or the US population polls as supporting the war and our reason for invading.

Yes, weird, isn't it? And a lot of them live in the United States, including Mel Gibson's father.

if I remember correctly - Mel Gibson's father is one of those people who don't believe Holocaust ever happened.

World would be a better place if that was really true...
