i know its probably my 1mb broadband with bt isn't fast enough, apart from upgrading is there any other way

Higher download bandwidth is the best way to avoid buffering time. Also, there is a setting, such as in Windows Media Player to customize the buffering settings. Tools/options/performance/network buffering.

There is one way, get a version of...for example Windows Media Player (version8 = best) that takes up little space. Run a defragmentation on your computer as this makes lots more space which will speed up your computer. And also, I recommend Tiscali Broadband, I have 2 MBPS broadband and its soooo fast.

Just wait for the whole video to load before you click on the PLAY button, then you won't get those annoying jumps in the middle.

add more ram to your system will help but the best way is to get dsl.
