I'm an admitted liberal, and here are a few things he did that I agree with:
- The invasion of Afghanistan: the hunt for Osama Bin Laden started there. It may have ended there, too, but at least it was a start & had the support of the vast majority of the world.
- He stated that the government was not going to send jack-booted thugs to collect all the illegal immigrants in the country & ship them back over the border. Any reasonable immigration policy would not include such drastic measures & the labor provided by illegal immigrants is vital to a number of major industries. In general, he seems reasonable about the immigration issue.
- Bush signed the North Korea Nonproliferation Act of 2006, the Veterans' Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2006, the renewal of the Burmese Freedom and Democracy Act of 2003, the Mine Improvement and New Emergency Response Act of 2006, and the Junk Fax Prevention Act of 2005, to name but a few.
I disagree with many of Bush's actions & inactions as president, but I'm not so partisan as to say that he's done nothing that will benefit this nation.

The Good:
No child left behind Act
2006 Military Commissions Act
Identity Theft Act
The Adam Walsh Act
and that's all I can think of.. I disagree with almost everything he has done and has said....
I use to agree with the Patriot Act until the second time around when he decided he shouldn't have to answer to Congress

I have to admire the confidence he seems to have, even when a lot of people think he's a moron. He always appears to feel as though he's doing everything right. Most people with a 30 something approval rating would fake it less well, but he does act very sure of himself. Don't know if it's acting or just him, but it is interesting.

The job as President has got to be a tough one. Nobody seems to realize that the “war” in Iraq is a distraction from our failing economy.
Actually the only thing that I can think of that he has really done wrong (in my view of course) is to continue with the Democrat’s Free Trade Acts.
This has taken over 5 million manufacturing and IT jobs from the US.
It has allowed US based to companies to operate freely (by that I mean little or no tax if based in a foreign country) while still under the protection of the US government.
Propagated child slavery in countries where the facilities are set up while devastating the local economies.
Allowed millions of substandard products to flood our shores…. The list goes on.
Now excuse me while I run down to Wal-Mart and buy a bunch of worthless junk from our little brown brothers.

Didn't he have something to do with the Family Medical Leave Act.
$1000 back on your taxes for a few years if you decide to drive an electric car.
Wrong:
No overtime pay for people in a certain income bracket (middle of course)
I'd mention the whole war thing, but I'm just sick of expressing myself about it.

I cannot think of anything.
My interests are:
Groceries - Price increases between 30 - 40 %
Gas - more than doubled
SS - I'm retired, it's not enough for my needs
Utilities - went up a total of $40/mth
Medical bills: I have no insurance, I have to cut but groceries to buy medication
Recreation: I cut out movies in favor of having dsl, and I no longer eat out. I may have to cut out dsl too, if prices keep going up.

Withdrew from the World Court of Law
First president in US history to refuse United Nations election inspectors
All-time US (and world) record holder for most corporate campaign donations.
First president in US history to unilaterally attack a sovereign nation against the will of the United Nations and the world community.
And the best:
First president to run and hide when the US came under attack (and then lied saying the enemy had the code to Air Force 1)
