I did lots of things, Johnny, but mostly we skipped school at lunch to go to Shari's Diner and smoke and have pie. I only got caught once, and I got a warning! It was worth it, for sure ;)

I skipped school to take a nap, eat, play cards, lie in the sun, and sometimes study in the library (for more important class). I planed out when I skipped; usually knew beforehand that this class will be a presentation (not my turn) or show a movie. I got caught sometimes but never got in big trouble (good planning is everything. Plus I turned in all assignments and made good grade. They are more forgiving if you have a good reason for skipping and not lie about it). It was worth it--I had education plus fun!

I always skipped 5th and 6th periods. At least 2 times a week lol...... my teachers knew I skipped but they loved me for some odd weird unknown reason so I was let by with alot
and of course it was worth it... I sometimes skipped 1-3 periods so I could sleep later..but I usually just slept in class lol
Usually we we all go to the lake and hang out, a group of people always skipped so I wasn't the only one
But, i'm outta high school now so all is good lol
Much love

It's called senioritis. I probably missed 40 out of the 180 days of school my senior year of high school because I had already gotten into the college of my choice so all I had to do was maintain a 3.0 GPA which is super easy, it was a piece of cake. I would go to the beach. Yeah, it was definitely worth it...going to the beach when you're stuck in class, who wouldn't want to do that? I live in so cal and it was always like 70-80 degrees outside, so it was really nice. I never got caught and my parents didn't care because they know I am responsible and still kept my grades up.

well in high school I skipped once...senior skip day and we all got called back to school because of the senior prank that went on the night before. People in my senior class thought it would be funny to pee on bed matresses and furniture and throw oil, rotten eggs and cake at the school windows. costed close to 5000 dollars for repairs and we almost didnt get to go to commencement(the whole senior class) we also killed a squirrel and put it in the princples office. So the day that I was planning on skipping I ended up haveing to go to school. In college I skipped class many times. But it really wasnt worth it cause classes were 700-900 dollars a piece and you missed a lot of work.

Went to Doughboy Doughnuts, Had coffee & a jelly doughnut, smoked cigarettes, then went home and slept in the afternoon. It didn't matter to my mother if I went to school or not, so I always told her I left school early. The nuns never really questioned me either because they knew my mother didn't care too much. Only did it a couple of times though. Was it worth it? I guess it didn't make a difference one way or the other. I always got straight As & never had to open a book.

Only at lunch. I skipped because that year they took away senior lunch and it made me mad. I never got caught and yes it was worth it. McDonald's, Hardee's, home food is always better than school food.

BACK in the days when I skipped school, we would go looking for a liquor school that would sell us alcohol and go kick it at the park on the other side of town. Oh the memories.
