He has been really good to us and want to get him something decent. Any ideas?

A nice set of pens with a business card holder would be nice. I just got my BIL the same thing and got it at Target. Not too expensive but it looked nice. Men always can use a nice set of pens to sign all those papers and a business card holder is nice to have when presenting their cards to others.

If he has family, you can always send him something from Harry and David or some store like that. Families always like the goodies that the daddies bring home.

Good luck! ;)

Last year we got our boss a cake with a picture of us printed on it.

It was done at Tescos for about £15, and the photo was all of us holding a 'Happy Christmas Ted' sign.

Depends on how much cash you collect. If he drinks, then you could get him some really expensive Single Malt Whisky. If he likes reading really good thrillers, get him the latest book by Harlan Coben.

You and your coworkers know him better than the rest of us do.

My advice is to look in his office (not snoop around, of course) and see what types of personal stuff he's got laying around (pictures of family, sports memorabilia, etc.).

This should give you some clues and some ideas as well.

Is he office based? If so, how about a set of cordless computer accessories, ie cordless keyboard and mouse?
