Why is Jesus so often depicted as someone best described as Germanic? They take everything and white wash it.

I thinks its a natural thing for people to have come to that conclusion. I actually have a huge fear of being alone in the dark. I feel like there are no walls, just an infinite space, and things watching me from all around. I guess its the fear of not knowing what's there. We are only able to see in the light and we need light to give life to essential food. Light is associated with giving life and illuminating ones path, while darkness brings insecurity and leaves you blind of your surroundings leaving you in a vulnerable state. Unless you've lost your sight and have learned how to work with the dark. There are always extremists out there who take things to another level. Racism I think, just happens to be one of those things. What people some times fail to see is that black also has its wonders. And its a white Christmas cause snow is white lol.

Let's see here...
In the martial arts, the WHITE belt is the lowest...while the BLACK belt is the highest level attainable.
A business is considered successful if it's in the BLACK.
In fashion, BLACK is considered always fashionable (In fact, the colloquialism "the new black" refers to the latest trends...on the basis that black is always in style.)
BLACK is considered the color of seriousness and authority...graduating classes, priests, and judges wear black robes.
BLACK is also the color of prestige (limousines and tuxedos)
Whereas....
WHITE noise is often considered a background nuisance.
To WHITEwash something is an attempt to obscure the truth.
A WHITE flag is the symbol of surrender.
To reach your conclusion...that Black is always associated with the negative, and White is always associated with positives....you have to really pick and choose, and conveniently ignore just as much evidence pointing the other way.

Nice question! It depends on nations' culture.
Western culture think that white is equal to innocence.
Some consider this association is a result of Western racism. Some others believe that this happens because that reflects light of all parts of the visible spectrum equally.
I strongly believe that the color of purity, cleanness, simplicity and high quality is BLACK.

You are just being an IDIOT . Daylight is good and safe, night is dark and dangerous .Food and the like turns black when it goes bad . Another thing is if things are plain to see it is safe but ,danger can " lurk in DARK shadows " where visibility is compromised.
Those are the kind of things that this reference is based on and you are sad to try and make it a racial issue.

I didn't know that white was associated with goodness. And here all my life I've been thinking that people associate white with racism.
I've spent my whole life "being the man" that everybody is fighting, even though I didn't really fight back...even though I'm not a man at all...go figure.
