Shelled snails inhabit fresh water, salt water, and terrestrial habitats. So do turtles of various kinds, though turtles of course are vertebrates.

Invertebrates with shells can be either land or water, not both.
Snails are a good example. Some are aquatic, some are terrestial. I don't know of any that are both.
