Anecdotal tale: sometime in the past a guy became surfing by using a London used book shop. He keen to purchase a field of miscellaneous books. between the books that became in the field became a e book titled "The Whale". It became the first version replica of Melville's Moby Dick, before the titled became replaced. for sure, it became properly worth a fortune. somebody else bought a portray at a storage or property sale only for the body. at the same time as he took the portray aside he stumbled on a unique signed replica(no longer fairly an oxymoron) of the announcement of Independence. i have not had that type of success, yet you under no circumstances understand what treasures are accessible. they're a blast to snoop round in and word what's there, yet get there early. Many start up Friday afternoon. the reliable stuff is picked over quickly. I keep hoping to locate an Orvis cut up bamboo fly rod at one. No such success yet, yet I keep hoping. reliable success.

Found a "Park and Sun" outdoor vollleyball net system (retails in the $300 range) for $25 once...that's been my best find so far. (It helps that I'm a volleyball player, of course.)
Also found an autographed first-edition copy of "Roots" that I bought for $5 and resold the next day for $125.
