Oh my gosh! I had an incident a couple of years ago where someone was talking to me spit and it landed on my lips!! Gross - I was too polite and stayed there listening until she left, then went straight to the restroom and rinsed my mouth out!! I was traumatized....to this day!

Actually its really bad. I had a really bad accident about 3 years ago and ended up losing 6 teeth. Well for three years I spit while I talked because your teeth do actually help prevent spitting. Just got denture and now it got worse for about 4 weeks cause you produce more saliva when you first get fake teeth but now it is back to normal.

Yes, I know a couple of people who spit when they talk. I find it very VERY annoying. Particularly because the girl that I know who spits, does this fake lisp-lisp thing because she thinks that it makes her cute -- when in fact the fake-lisp turns into a frothy mouth of spit that spits on anyone she is speaking with. YUCKY.

I have this friend where I work and he spits all the time when he talks. Sometimes I wear a face shield. He just laughs and apologizes.

those people need to learn how to swallow their own spit; talking can wait until that's done! I had a teacher who did that and no one would sit in the front row.
