Why XMAS Cards are not written on Post Cards anymore?

because the greeting card companies have made it difficult to find Christmas postcards because they don't make them. Otherwise I think people like the privacy of the envelope. The postcards would have the message in the open for all to see. Perhaps that's why

Because of the new digital age..you can zip an email xmas card in minutes and it costs nothing...

They're too short for all some people want to say. It's a lost art.
