Some like to go off memory or the History channel, but you do have a point that people should look things up before giving an opinion

Most people know the basic situation of the Holocaust, and no particular research is necessary to elaborate that knowledge. Some six million people were slaughtered, and that has to be scored as one of the worst atrocities in history. Only Communism has butchered more people.

Wow, that's very egotistical of you. You assume your "question" warrents time and resources, and then, when no one is interested, you post something like this trying to imply that anyone who didn't reaserch your original question is insensitive to the holocaust.

Get a grip.

It's a subject that's been covered over and over. If YOU need to do research on it, then do so. Don't aim a snide remark at those that don't. Just cause a multitude of people didn't flock to answer your original post and to research it on the way doesn't mean a thing.

Except perhaps that your 'question' bored them. Get off of your soap box.

(In fact, looking back through your post history, I get quite the picture of you being some kind of fool. This is aplace to ask questions, not to preach.)

Many people are lazy on this site and only answer the questions for the points and don't bother to do the little bit of leg work that the question askers can do by going to the top of the screen and searching in Yahoo! for the answer.

To be honest, I don't think that the anwerers were avoiding the possiblities. Most people on here a just plain lazy and only want their two points. That's all it is.

What frightens me? I'll tell you what: people who know nothing, ignore the logical flaws in their reasoning, yet insist that others are ignorant simply because others don't agree. What frightens me? How easily people like that are lead into genocidal acts towards others.

You were given lots of reactions -- historical and logical. You cited only assertion that was illogical and ahistorical, in order to support your anti-Semitic ravings. 6 million Jews are exterminated, and somehiw people like you want to make that a Jewsih plot.

Why must everybody jump to your command to research a topic they may not be interested in? Who do you think you are to make such demands? Do you know how many things we don't know?! Each individual has a choice to be informed and each individual has a choice as to what it is she/he chooses to inform herself/himself about.

Many people choose to worry about the here and now - the problems we are currently facing - such as global warming. Why don't you research that since it is a huge dilemma that our world is currently facing. It will be more than a holocaust if we continue to ignore this important issue!

That the Holocaust may be a story made up by the Jews as the Iranian President is insisting that it is so

its called being lazy and just wanting instant points....most don't actually care what the question is to begin with.

that is why a holocaust could happen in the past....and why one will happen again in the future.
