white people, please tell me why instead of trying to get to know black people most of you just stereotype us. and why is it that you guys think we are lazy and good at nothing. when all of the blacks i know work their butts off just to prove the white man wrong.

I view all people as people. and judge each one according to how they present themselves to me. If you are kind, I will be kind, if you are rude, I will be rude. It doesnt matter if you are rich, poor, ugly, not ugly, black, hispanic, white or whatever. :) But I am not stupid and I know racism still exsists. I am sorry if anything bad has ever happened to you, I myself have been a minority in a country and it was NOT a pleasant feeling. I pray one day racisim will come to an end!!!!!

Not all white people act this way. I have some very good black friends. Every single person no matter what color they are have a personality. Sometimes personalities just don't click. I know many, many black people who are not lazy and who definately do work their butts off. But, there are many people: white, black, hispanic, etc. who are lazy.
I don't understand why people generalize on a topic. If you don't want to be stereotyped, don't stereotype other people.

Number 1, I give everyone a chance to prove themselves regardless of color. Number 2, racism is media driven. Look at movies, music videos, television shows like Cops and the news. They cast blacks in a bad light and if someone lives in an area where there aren't too many balcks or none at all they assume all act like that. Unfortunately it is taught to some as well. My dad tried to teach me all blacks are worthless. Fortunately I didn't listen because I have some good black friends. I see you used the term "most of you." I don't think most whites do this, but a large number does.

I don't stereotype. You are stereotyping me when you say that I stereotype. Don't address this question to caucasians or to white people; address it to racists.
And don't work your butt off to prove the white man wrong whatever that means. Work your butt off to accomplish things in your own life. Don't make it about the people that you think hate you, make it about yourself.
I mean it in a nice way.

My opinion is based on my own experienc... and to some extent on biased reporting by the news media... I have known, personaly, only a few black people. But have worked with many more. Blacks seem to fit "stereotypes" about at the same ratio as any other "race"... there's good ones and there's bad ones and a lot inbetween

When the majority of a race acts like ghetto punks, that's how they are judged. It is rare where I live to see black guys "working", it is more common to see black women out working their @sses off to take care of the babies the black guys made and abandon.
