The same happens to me, I have full eye lashes and some grow weird so what do is this: when I want to go for a bold look and want my eyes to stand out in a very loud kind of way I use a Revlon liner, its liquid but the tip and the fluid light texture makes it easier to put on, try to rest yur hand on your cheek bone to get support so your hand is not too shaky. If you want a smokey look you can try a gel liner from MAC its fool proof and if you dont like the line you traced you can always smudge a little to make it more even and straight. Take your time, if you are the kind of person that is always in a big hurry and has no time in the morning to put make up on, try the second option, its easier to correct, so you dont have to take it all off.

1) Gently stretch the corner of your eye.
2) Start from the inner corner and draw a line as close to the lash as possible.
3) Use a sharp liner (not too sharp).
4) Try revlon colorstay liner or MAC fluidline. Both of which are top liners. See this source for why. http://www.beautyqa.com/
5) Smile and look into the mirror because you're still beautiful even if the line is straight or not! : )

also depends on type of eyeliner u use...
but here's what i do: face a mirror. tilt ur head back, but stare downwards into the mirror w/ ur eyes.
if using pencil, start at inner corner and concentrate on staying as close to lash line as possible. feather ur strokes along the lash line, until u get to the other side.
if using liquid, use one hand to Stretch ur lid out straight so you can apply the liquid liner better. try resting ur hand w/ the liner on the mirror or on your cheek to be more steady.
tip: what i like to do is start at inner corner, but once i get 3/4 of the way to the outer eye, i will go Straight out and Upwards to create a bit of a cat eye effect. when u look normally in the mirror it will seem as tho ur eyes are bigger, because it looks like a continuation of ur Lash Line . make sure to use mascara! :)

I would use an eyeliner brush like this one which makes it easy to walk the liner across the lashline (if using cream or powdered liner, not sure how it works with liquid)

Do what my mom always told my sister: Close one eye and tilt your face up slighty. Make sure the tip of the eyeliner is sharp. You don't have to worry about that with the brush tyypes.
