Each feeding is slightly different. Your son will not always ask for the same amount at every feeding. What you can do is anticipate how much you think he will drink (based on keeping track for a couple of days) and put that amount in his bottle. This way, you won't be left short (which he will not like!) nor will you have so much left over that you might waste.

Nope. Just like us they're hunger varies. You may start to notice patterns appearing in which your baby may seem more hungry (like at night) then other times of the day. My daughter eats less when she first wakes up, so I started to make less formula for that bottle. She eats alot before she goes to bed, perhaps becasue her body is getting ready for a night's sleep without eating. There should be some consistency though. If you are dumping alot of formula out you might be feeding too often.

As children get older, they will start to drink more & more. But that doesn't necessarily mean that if they normally drink 6 ounces that they will at ever single feeding. Maybe they've fallen asleep, weren't as hungry... It's nothing to fret about unless they stop eating completely.

No it just depends on how hungry or not they are. They can just want a quick sip or the whole bottle plus more.

no babys may drink alot during one feeding and less during another,, sometimes when they are having a growing spurt they will eat more in a day, like you cant give them enough.

...what? Your babies hunger will vary.. the same as yours does. Usually they eat more in the morning... because they have gone all night without food. Also.. if they are waking up in the middle of the night to eat, they tend to eat less then as well. It truly depends on the baby
