the guys can all give you the answer you want to hear so they can get 10 pts. first off saying "skinny" makes you sound fat-not chunky or whatever adjective you want to through in there. you could say thin and that would suffice and not sound like you hate these women. second, men are visual- meaning first impression means a lot more because if we aren't attracted to you, we aren't as interested in getting to know the rest of who you are. you could be the perfect match emotionally but if they don't ever get to the conversation then how will you ever know? you wont and you will wonder why there are no "prince charming" or nice guys out there. take my advice however you want but somebody has to be honest on this site and might as well be me. good luck in whatever you decide to do, sincerely Ben

I can read how desperately you want to find love and your prince charming. Honey, you need to first concentrate on being happy in your own skin. Love yourself first and foremost. If you like the way you look, then don't change for anyone. If you want to be a little thinner, do it for you and not for some man.
Our bodies were created to have curves. Embrace every single curve you have! Hold you head up. The next time you encounter a man who asks you why you can't look like so and so...ask him why he can't look like so and so. Turn the table on his butt.
And the guys who only talk to you because they want a piece of @ss, let them know you have more class than that and if they want some @ss then they can go get it from one of those bony girls they like so much. Don't let these guys make you feel like you are worthless and undeserving of respect and love.
Let me put it another way.....if a man had to choice between running his hands over a woman's body with curves that will hug his body or a woman that is skinny and curve less and he has to be gentle with her because he is afraid she will break...which do you think he will go with?

I found your question to be a little ironic. Most of the time, if you go into Wal-Mart, you see a skinny guy with a bigger girl. I'm a bigger gal too... I once felt like you, even had some guys tell me the same things.. but if you're not up front with a guy saying, "If you don't like me how I am, then you don't need me." You're just going to end up wasting your time with guys who think that only your appearance matters, not what's inside. Think about it, sweetie. Good luck!

ANSWER: Never as skinny as women think we men want and not as fat as women think they are! REASON: To be honest the normal is considered normal for a reason. I was looking at Kate Moss (excuse spelling) and I said to my girlfriend that she looked like an X-ray and that I did not find her attractive for being too skinny. I was surprised to find that my girlfriend was offended because if I like girls that are not too skinny and thus I like her it must mean I think she is fat!!! We guys like pretty girls that are not fat but not X-rays. What I mean is that many models have lost their curves. For give me for being a little macho in this answer but many models even tape their breasts to seem flat and you must know that men prefer larger breasts in women. I think the reason for this is because fashion sells the female image to women not to men, I mean the consumers are women. Thus, magazines such as Playboy and other such publications who do cater to men specifically, show much fuller “normal” women then “thoopicky” runway girls.

I understand where you are coming from, I've been having the same problem most of my life, and when i started to work on the areas that needed work such as my career, family and being happy within myself, guys didn't even matter. Always believe that someone will come along...i bet you.

Most guys are visual so the outward appeareance is the first thing they notice. Its unfurtunate that most girls feel this pressure to be thin to get notice. Maybe you sould try going after shy guys they are not as picky. But keep your head up dont be discourage
