You shouldn't feel guilty. She is not being a very good friend if she looks down on you because of the mistakes you made in the past. Good friends love you no matter what mistakes you make. It sounds like you two were growing apart. I don't think you should feel guilty about it. You may be hurt because you lost a friend, but you never know who'll you meet and you may make a new friend who will accept whatever you did in the past.

If she was really your friend she would not of looked down on you for mistakes you made in your past. I have made alot of mistakes in my past but some of those mistakes made me who I am today. That is how people learn is from their mistakes. If she was acting like she was better than you then you don't need a friend like that. A true friend may not agree with the mistakes in your past but she will accept them and not judge you on them

first of all, you are not your past, what's done is done, all you can do is your future.. so stop feeling guilty for mistakes of the past, and go on with your life with the experience of those mistakes.. about your friend, i recommend confrontation, you gotta tell her that you've got to get through it and let things go, tell her that u appreciate it that she had helped you alot and you don't wanna let this friendship go...
good luck..

Swallow your pride. Go to her and tell her that she really helped you a lot in the past, and that you want to continue to be friends. That you have growed up, and realize that she was a very good friend.
Good luck!

Guilt is a poison, the only way you can remove guilt from your life, is by forgiving yourself and all others and your process will begin. So enjoy a guilt free life, if Yahweh can forgive you so can you. PEACE!

Well, it is a process - get over whatever is bothering you.
It may partly hurt but true friendship is worth it.
Just be sure of yourself again - and don´t forget
where YOU helped or will help someone.

You can't force a relationship on someone who doesn't want it. If you've tried talking to her to no avail then let it be. Maybe in time she'll try to reconnect but for now I'd step back.

if she was any type of friend she shouldnt look down on you, you have to learn and grow from your own mistakes. but then again , maybe you should have spoke to her explained your problem with her and try sorted out the problem. she's been a good friend to you and its something you should try and sort out between yourselves.
