I would like the perfect Prom Dress I have a pacific one in my head But I would like to no how i can get it out my head and me into this dress I need some ideas on where I can find a great dress somewhat close to what I want. Where can I go so I can let someone know my idea at an not so hi price but also look like a celeberty. thank you

You could try a web search with the design, and see what comes up. Type in as much as you can about the cut and style: neckline, color, fabric, bodice, waistline, skirt, length, etc....
Or go to a local seamstress to see if she can make it for you. Ask about how she charges (by the hour, by the piece, etc...) and get her to give you a rough estimate before you commit to it.
You could also try asking another question, or adding details to this one, with a description of what you want. Many times people on here know exactly where you can find something that you are looking for.
If all else fails, try eBay.

Go to the Mall, Check out stores like Dillards and Mervyns, when they have sales. Make sure that you look classy and not skanky. Sleeves make you look classy. Celebrities generally look skanky. Deb always has tons of formals, most are very skanky though, I would not let my daughters wear them. Just be patient and you will find something nice. You could always try Wedding stores like David's Bridal, they have more than wedding dresses, they also have formal dresses for bridemaids. I don't know how expensive they are.
Yeah and the word your are looking for is Specific, not Pacific.

My kid sister went of all places to a wedding gown shop. They had some awesome dresses there. Plus, they also knew where around town and in the next cities around where to go. The shop even gave my sister the names, addresses and phone numbers of the other places. Talk about service!

u can go online and look at davids bridal....um i got my dress from DEBS and i looked really pretty and classy. not all slu*-like, like these girls are doing. stay classy and don't get something that your kids will look at and think EWWW what were u thinking mom :)
