I guess that really depends on the question. If it is phrased like this one maybe it is because the question itself seeks to inflict an insult in the form of a question. If you read a lot of political questions on Yahoo Answers you will find that both sides insult just by the way they ask the questions. Often times there is some question as to the intent of the asker. Take for example the question "Do the Republicans have any valid proposals regarding Iraq? then contrast it with the question "Why do the Republicans think their stupid policy is working in Iraq? One question will generate valid responses the other a visceral reaction. Rhetoric runs rampant on Yahoo Answers in what can only be described as a childish game of one upmanship and both sides are equally guilty of this behavior. For the most part if you are looking for intelligent debate you have come to wrong place, but it does occur. Out of 10 answers if you get 3 valid well thought out responses consider yourself fortunate.

Trying to get liberals to understand the importance of freedom, not only as individuals but as a nation is like trying to teach a frog to read. The concept of family values, right and wrong, is greek to them. How you been reading liberal answers? Evidently not. You want to see insults, spend some time with the Democrats. That's all they do 24 hours a day!

What do you want to know?
I will answer any question.. I am not bitter about anything...
Democracy was served. The Democrats won more seats than the Republicans, now, lets see what "they" can do...
I hold no grudge against that! Its your turn :)
And, dont hold the Republicans responsible if 'you' screw up, when you kept saying you had a better plan for Iraq... I just want to see it, and if it pans out, then wonderful!!! I have no problem with that...:)
BUT, WILL "SOMEONE" PLEASE CATCH OSAMA BIN LADIN IN THE PROCESS FIRST!???? sheesh!!! (And I dont really care WHO does...Republican OR Democrat!!)...
I wish you well..

Those Liberal Colleges don't teach their students the "proper" way of prefacing a question or, how to tastefully deal with rejection. Republicans can only handle so much . They constantly have to repeat themselves as the liberals suffer from "conservative deafness".

Why is it impossible for Democrats to ask or answer questions without insults? Are you that vicious?
People here talk AT not TO each other. Better get out of that glass house.

Because so many Democrates can't answer a question without it being an insult. Why don't you pay more attention, before you write another stupid question.
Edit: You should care about what the Liberals do also.

Some of us figure that if is all right for Liberals it should be
all right for us.
However, in all fairness to both sides, in most cases it's the really
stupid questions that are insulted.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and have a nice day.
Thank you very much, while you're up!!!!

I can read very well, thank you.
It's questions like "Don't they read?" and "Are they that bitter?" that provoke responses that are equally insulting.

As far as I can tell, and by the way I'm not associated nor do I want to be with either party, neither side can answer a question. I think you all must have taken politics 101. When a question is asked, and the answer is difficult, take to slamming your opponent. Hell it works in elections, why not in here?

Just ask the best questions you can, in a non-hostile manner, and ignore any answers not given in the same spirit.
Good luck.
