Yes. You are at the end of the life of the battery. It will gradually get worse and cold morning starts will get harder. Just replace it.

Maybe you should replace the battery BUT that may not solve the stalling. Possible there is a problem with the motor getting fuel.
1. Have the battery & charging system tested.
2. How many miles on car? Due for a tune-up, fuel filter,...?

YES. Unless you got a top-of-the-line battery then anything over three years is a miracle. A great one might go five but you can't count on that.

Inside it the lead could be flaking off and piling up near the bottom ready to short out cells or just not have enough charge to re-start if you left a dome light on.

You might have other problems but your over-age battery is sure one of them.

First off, does it restart after it stalls? If it does, it's not your battery making it stall! Might want to get the O2 sensor checked, or possibly injectors could be clogging up a bit, and not getting enough fuel at an idle after choke opens!

yes, you sould have thought about replacing it a year ago. if you live in an area that has very cold weather, you should have thought about replacing about 2 years ago. if anything buy a car battery from walmart. they come with a 3-5 year warranty.

Yes. It is rare for a battery to last more than five years. Replace it now to avoid being stranded someplace when it dies.
