The only thing I don't like about Y!A is the "abuse reporting" system. It's a sham.
Otherwise, a very addictive place to be ...

It frustrates me because I just wish everyone could think like ME! Oh what a wonderful world it would be.
LOL
Seriously, this is what makes our country so great. What a place where we can say what we feel and not be arrested or killed. I think that it is the diversity of opinions that make us work as a society. People are entitled to their thoughts and beliefs however misguided they may be, and without that right, among others, we would be so easily oppressed as a society (North Korea, Hell-O). I may disagree with what people on Yahoo say, but I respect their right to say it.

certain, the Yahoo-fascists only were given me! it is my tragic tale about the answer I gave to someone: "might want to gay marriage be allowed?" it is clearly requested interior the component to Y!A committed to non-straight away human beings. Now that is a question, no situation with that. and that i did provide an answer. My answer reported that if I were to grant my honest opinion of gay marriage (which replaced into requested that I try this with techniques from the asker) i must be voted thumbs-down by way of very truth i replaced into partly of Y!A that has a very extreme majority of gay consumers who ought to probably help gay marriage (and that i do not). I stated that for the asker to receive a lot less biased solutions, he/she might want to ask that exact same question partly of Y!A with a more advantageous mixed (homosexuals besides as heterosexual) kinds of Y!A consumers. Secondly, my answer for the question in debate received 4 thumbs-up and hence couldn't were all that undesirable as an answer. I by no skill used any foul, insulting language, or crude humor, or some thing offensive like many different consumers use at situations. not in elementary words replaced into my answer deleted yet Yahoo suggested in nice condition to get rid of 11 factors from me. i have obviously been the sufferer of a gay-marriage activist who couldn't deal with what I had written and reported me. i comprehend that my answer wasn't a accepted, straight away answer (yet what number of human beings on Y!A follow the guidelines one hundred% without utilising insulting tones, sarcasm, call-calling, etc) even though it replaced into nonetheless rated with 4 thumbs-up. that is loopy that Yahoo settle for each and each and every of the comments each and every somewhat-indignant fool writes in. Censorship is utter $hit.

You know, I would have to answer both. Some of the ignorance is so darn amusing, I can't help but laugh. Also, it gives me an outlet to let it rip...calling a fool a fool, and vice versa. Some of the stupidity makes me angry, but then I try to remember, this is the internet, and a world full of not so well educated people. Then it all seems amusing again.

I am interested in well-reasoned arguments on either side of any issue. I am irritated by the sort of dogmatism that many people exhibit, especially when I can demonstrate that their position is not correct.

Depends. I have to limit my time in Religion and Spirituality otherwise my head would explode in rage. I have to have some cooling off time in Beauty and Style and then come back refreshed and calm.

I enjoy the variety. However, there are times when they are tongue in cheek and must be taken with a proverbial grain of salt.
