My boyfriend & i have been trying to have a child for a while now. I think maybe its because i had a miscarridge four years ago. My boyfriend really wants a child.

He has also planned to have saterdays free to have a 'dad & child' day & sundays family days. He has already started to plan ideas for the nursery room & everything. We throw around names for now until we actually do have the child.

He has also said that he would get a nanny to look ater the child as well as to change & bath the baby too. I will prob be a stay at home mom too. I also wanted to know is it okay to leave the baby moniter at night in the nannys room or is the baby moniter be in the main bedroom with my boyfriend & myself.

Dont get my wrong but he was a great father to our little girl who had passed away he wants to have another child to fill up that gap.

I dont see why you would need a nanny if you were home all day... maybe just a babysitter/mommy helper for when you needed to go out without them, or nights out with your boyfriend.. as far as the baby monitor.. well, yes, it should be with you.. unless you want your baby to become extreemly attatched to the nanny, you would want to share a part in actually raising the child yourself.. when it cries... you should attend to it.. not a stranger. Changing diapers, bathing, crying, feedings.. thats all part of being a mom... the other thing to consider is whether he is trying to replace that child with another. Is he emotionally stable enough to have another baby? You cannot replace a child you lost...

What exactly is your question? Where to put the baby monitor? Personally I say in your room. But I wouldn't hire a nanny to take care of my children. If You have children you should raise and take care of them yourself.
