Well apparently they do or else she wouldn't have bought them. How old are you that your biggest fixation lies on what your friend chooses to wear? I am sick of people having to conform to one style of clothing just because that is what they usually wear. It is fine to step outside the norm and try something new once in a while and how exactly do a pair of pants define you as no longer being "girly"? That is just both lame and ridiculous if you ask me. I was voted most unique in high school and wore all sorts of crazy stuff. Was it because I was following some sort of trend? No, I just wore what I liked and I still do that now. I have my "girly" clothes and outfits that I guess would fit within the categories of many different styles and I don't care if I don't fall within someone's brackets or expectations of who I am or what I should be wearing because I wear whatever I feel like based on my mood and the occasion. I have a broad range of likes from my taste in music to just about everything so why should I limit myself to only certain kinds of clothing, if many styles appeal to my taste? I think you need to grow up and stop being jealous of your friend for stepping outside of the boundaries and not being afraid to be herself. The clothes don't make the person hun and she's still the same person no matter what clothing she decides to wear...Peace.

Tell your friends, that she does not like that kinda Gothic stuff. You make clear to them, that they should respect her way of being, and if that is very "girly" then that is very girly. I think is just very rude of your friends, they should have some respect for her.
You should tell her, that she is okay, that she can be who she wants to be and that those people who do not except her, can just go to h*ll. Really, you tell her 2, that those people don't respect her.
Good luck.

If she bought them - then they definately "go with her." I think the problem is that YOU don't want her wearing them. It would be smart to learn now that your really can't control what anybody else does. The only one you can control is YOU. So if the rocker pants are bugging you - tell her you don't want to be her friend. (although, I think that would be very shallow)

you let this phase end on it's own. If she asks, let her know that you don't like them, but it isn't up to you to make fashion choices for yoru friends. She will probably move on to something else quickly.

It's not your place to judge. All people have seasons in life, so let your friend frolick freely in their season.

tell her she's a poser. if she's your friend you shouldn't be afraid to tell her what you think of her pants. Plus she'd probably glad you gave her that advice instead of letting her wear them and look weird.
