True. When they are little we make up this story and lie to our kids, then we tell them "Well no there is no such thing as Santa, but there is a Jesus" and expect them to believe it.

If you don't believe something, it is immoral to convince someone else of it.

True and False, depending on perspective...Santa Clause is a character, played by Tim Allen in three movies so far. As far as how 'Santa Claus' came about, you can look here for a start into the many varieties behind the myth: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_Claus
Jesus was born and died many centuries earlier than the santa myths.

Now, for an 'imaginative' response...consider that in many ways Santa and Jesus both are alike.
Santa delivered gifts
Jesus delivered Lazarus from the dead,
cured the sick (including lepers)
turned water into wine at a marriage festival
All to my way of thinking were special 'gifts' to the people involved at that time. Enough so that His gifts are remembered by many cultures and peoples.

*smirks* False. There is no religion set up to worship Santa Claus (no "e") but Jesus Christ is a central figure in all froms of Christianity. So, while I get what you are implying I cannot agree with your statement due to the fact that one is a religious figurehead and the other is children's story told across the globe, in various nations, religions, and backgrounds.

I feel sorry for the person who doesn't believe in Jesus. Although Jesus is not a Santa Claus all things come from him and his father, God!
