repost,i asked about this prob a little while ago but i didnt get much help.i recently got back in contact with a friend i went to school with 10 years ago.he was very happy and pleased to hear from me in fact we were talking everyday.for some reason he hasnt contacted me for no reason at all.i did contact him and he told me he would call me righ back but never did(which is not like him)it bothers me that he would do this so soon after we reconnected with eachother so im very confused.at this point i,ve come to the conclusion that im gonna just tell him that our friendship is over cuz that seems like its the only option and right now i hate him.what are your thoughs on this or any suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

Which 'things' are you thinking of putting an end to? Ever consider putting a 'beginning' to them, rather than an end? It would sure give you a different perspective...

Why call him? Just don't get in contact with him anymore. Time has a way of changing people. He is not the same person you knew 10 years ago. Many things have happened to him since then. Don't hate him, maybe he just doesn't have time for you right now. Send him a Christmas card every year and let it go. There is no reason to be angry.

ive been in a similar situation but been the other person.. I had someone contact me from my school days. It was great to hear from him and for a few weeks we would chat alot.. life has changed alot since the good old days....i started avoiding the calls because i didnt have the time to chat or had very bad days. he had notice that. Obviously, he doesnt know what is goin on in my life and just didnt understand wat the problem was. I aint proud of it... but, what in sayin is that your mate may have other things to deal with. The best thing to do is to leave a message along the lines that ..i know your busy, call me wen you want to have a chat and that your only on the the other side of the fone....
You dont know what or where his life is at...at least you have offered a helping hand and left it open for him to call you. If dont hear from him then be happy that you tried.

Don't revolve your life around one person. If he doesn't seem interested you can't make him. Go on with your life, trust me you will find the perfect person that will want to talk to you day and night. He seems like a little bit of a loser anyway

It seems to me you like him a bit. also why tell him your friendship is over when he already said it with his actions. so don't make a fool of yourself. Just let it be.Who cares what his reasons are for. you have.I'm sure you have better things to worry about.
