I had cramps each month until menopause - some months really bad. It isn't unusual. Sometimes they get better after childbirth, but many women really suffer until they just don't have periods anymore.

I am 33 years old and found that as i got older my period cramps got worse. I asked my doctor about this and he said it was just probably due to getting older. He also said it might have to do with my diet.

I'm 34 and have them just as bad as my very first peiod, and every month since. I think it's just the configuration of our hormones and the luck of the draw, or bad luck of the draw. When hormones shift after childbirth it might change for some, but it doesn't always.
