I dare anybody who thinks we are doing good over there to catch a flight to iraq and take a casual stroll around any neighborhood.
we destroyed that countires infrostructure then claim we have to stay becuase iraq has no inforostructure, it's all BS. a class of high schoolers could have handled this war better. Rumsfled thought we'd be greeted as liberators, was he serious??
what do you think would happen in america if somecountry came in and blew up everything, bridges, power plants, water plants, hostpitals, and then fired every single person who was in a politcal party including the entire military, which is a little less then half the country. it's just a mess. more people have died in iraq int he last 3 years then in the entire 25 years saddam wasin power

Save yourself the trouble. Go to the veterans hospital and see the 20,000. seriously wounded. Head wounds, loss of legs, arms, that will never be the same. Then call Bush and tell him you've had enough. Bring our troops home. 202 456 1111

You're right, the Iraqis are free to do as they please. What is it that they please to do ? Blow up their own pipe lines, blow up water lines, blow up each others mosques, blow up shoppers in the markets, blow up policemen, blow up soldiers in their barracks.
An army is meant to fight wars. There is no war in Iraq. Soldiers can't stop a whole nation of civilians from killing each other, if that's what they want to do.
When the Iraqis decide to work together to build a nation, the killing will stop. I doubt they will.

I will wait until they are capable of securing the government and protecting the people there.
That doesn't happen over night. It even took the U.S. decades to do after we won our independance.
