No, stop bitc hing about a lousy 19lbs. If you had gestational diabetes you'd be gaining alot more. Count your blessings.

well they stress that you stay between 30 and 40 lb weight gain for a healthy pregnancy; if you have any other concerns check with your obstetrician but a 19 pound weight 24 weeks in seems reasonable. I wouldn't stress out over it too much; I know people who have gained 60+ pounds and the babies were fine the only real difficulty came in when they tried to get back to pre-pregnancy size. And here's another thing to think about; my first trimester i gained 15 pounds, lost 7 my second trimester and in total gained 31 pounds, my mother did somewhat the same thing, (gained the majority of her weight her first two trimesters) and then leveled off the third treimester. Your body know's what it's needs are so follow the cues... you could cut down on sugars or switch to sugar free, reduced calorie, reduced fat snacks if you become overly concerned. But I wouldn't worry too much.

Professionals say that weight gain during pregnancy should be about 25-30 lbs, if carrying twins they alot about 10 more lbs. if you're are over weight to start off you must what your gain and if you're under weight to start off you will want to gain a lil bit more than average. Being you're 6 months along with about 3-4 months left you haven't gained too too much weight you've just becareful of what you eat for the next few months because these are the months where the baby grows the most.

you should gain between 25-35 pounds during pregnancy. After the 32nd week, you will gain usually 1 pound a week. Earlier in the pregnancy, it will be between .5 and .75 pounds per week. Your weight gain is normal, no worries. As your doctor if you are truly concerned.. but you seem to be OK. Some women gain more, some gain less.

when i was preg. with my oldest, i was 160 at conception, i gained almost 75 pounds with him, when i hit the 30 pound mark at 6 months, the doctor had me keep an eating/activity journal. If you want to, you can start doing that, and take it to your doctor. but if your dr hasn't said anything then i wouldn't worry about it. He/ She will let you know if there is a need to worry. You don't need the added stress of worrying about your weight gain right now, you have enough to deal with! enjoy yourself and keep eating healthy.

talk to your doctor. you may just be retaining water which can add to the weight. if you're really worried about the weight gain you can talk to your doctor about a light diet or changing how much, when, and what types of food you're eating. i weighed 140 when i started and i'm almost 36 weeks and i'm at 175 and you really can't tell. it looks like its all baby.

I don't think so. Your body is retaining a lot of water (amniotic fluid), you have the baby in there, and your hormones are going nuts.

You may want to ask your doctor, but if you aren't eating any different than you were before, don't worry about it.

Peoples bodies do strange things when there pregnant. Personally I wouldn't worry as it will probably taper off soon. If your stressing out, talk to your doctor about your concern. That is what he's there for. Good luck!

25-35 pounds by the time you have baby is about normal - your just over half way through and 19 pounds seems on par with the upper end of the average.
