I am thinking about watching the movie Crybaby, can somebody tell me what it's about? Is it good?

It's a sort of spoof/homage to the music and attidues of the 1950's. Basically it's the story of a "square" debutante type girl named Alison who falls in love with a "drake" or bad boy called Crybaby Walker. The movie is very over-the-top but the music is excellent and the movie doesn't take it self so seriously. I really liked this movie, but I thought "Hairspray" was better because of the themes it addressed. I say rent it.

It is a musical spoof of the '50's revival genre. It's a satire and incredibly cheesy. Johnny Depp plays a bad boy who falls in love with a good girl. It's one of those movies that's so bad it's good.

I'm sure I'll get crap for this but... I hate that movie. I can't even say I hate the movie because I haven't seen all of it. My best friend loves it and I tried to watch it with her but, I don't get it and why so many people love it. But... to each their own. If other people find happiness watching it then that's great!

it's.... well, you should watch it, its Johnny Depp with greaser hair and a bad Elvis impression. its not great or moving but I would sit through it again if it came on tv.
