Florida may seem like it is becoming a different country these days but no it is still officially part of the U.S.A. and you do not need a passport for travel within the U.S.A.

But be aware some things are changing. It use to be that you did not need one to travel to Canada or to Islands in the Carabian but now you will. So understand that for safety sake if your in the US going somewhere in the US your ok but anywhere else I would get a current passport. And they do take some time to get so if you do need one you need to start months before you travel.

I hope this is your sense of humor or you are 8 years old. If not, I hope you are traveling with someone who can help you get where you are going. The answer to your question is no. You can travel from state to state without a passport. But since Florida has so many illegal people you do need special permission to go from one county to another. Once you get to Florida, go to the information desk at the airport and ask for the special permit to travel with in the state. Tell them you want to visit several counties. They can give you the papers and then you will be good to go.

Have fun while you are here. Oh, I almost forgot, If you are planning to go to the beach during your stay, you will have to go to the chamber of commerce in the town you will be in and ask for the swimming permit. If you can't swim then ask for the wading permit. They are cheaper anyway.

No, You only need a passport if you leave the country. If you have one, not a bad idea to take it with you. But be sure you have a drivers licenses with photo and birth certificate. Be prepared to wait inline during check-in. You have to remove your shoes and no liquids on board. All meds and makeup must be checked in.

Yes, BUT ONLY IF you do not have a state issued driver's license or ID that meets government guidelines. Without a recognized picture ID they will not let you through security.
