No way.

Just like everyother math problem out there, it depends on the size of the numbers. The only thing special about fractions is that they're not whole numbers.

Dividing by a fraction- 2/(3/2)=(4/3), and 4/3<2 and < 3/2

Multiplying- 2*(3/2)=3, 3> 2 and >(3/2)

Neither of the two statements you made are true.

Its true for proper fractions.

Its the other way around for improper fractions.

yes as long as the fraction has a value less than 1 (i.e. they are not improper/top heavy fractions)
