Now, as we all know, Kitty and Sunshine have fought about Marshal Dillon for ages now. Those two weren't going to let something like that wait, not even for Christmas. As soon as they could hear him - which wasn't that difficult, as he was walking around town yelling at the top of his lungs, "Merry Christmas Dodge House. Merry Christmas, horse stables! Merry Christmas, Feed and Grain! Merry Christmas, you wonderful old Longbranch!!" - Kitty immediately fought her way to the door before Sunshine could. When he walked into the saloon, high in spirit, Kitty was there to grab his arm. Tenderly she asked, "So, what are you getting me for Christmas?" He was slightly taken by surprise, and had no time to answer before Festus hollered from across the room, "I'll lasso you the moon, Kitty!" Kitty glared at him, but that didn't stop him. Festus continued. "And the sun's rays will shoot out of your fingers and your toes and the ends of your hair..." Kitty stormed over to him aggressively. Festus sat back, suddenly fearful. "Am I talking too much?" Kitty leaned in and growled, "Don't you see... you KNOTHEAD?!" she cried as she hit him, "that I was trying to have a moment with Marshal Dillon?" By this time, Sunshine had wound her way over to Marshal Dillon. "A donkey has a message for you," she smiled at him. "A donkey?" he raised an eyebrow. Sunshine grinned. "Yes. He says Hee Haw and Merry Christmas." While the Marshal laughed loudly, Sunshine thought to herself, "Matt Dillon... I'll love you 'til the day I die." He finished laughing and looked up. "Look," he said. "Someone hung mistletoe." Festus yelled, "Why don't you kiss her instead of talking her to death?!" Kitty gasped, but it was tradition and she couldn't stop it.

Miss Kitty had closed up the Long Branch Saloon for the night. She purposefully stood beneath the chandelier which was decked with mistletoe. With hands on her hips, she looked at the tall United States Marshall, "Matt Dillon ... I'll love you 'til the day I die'. Matt looked at her tenderly and replied, "I'll lasso you the moon, Kitty. ( Scene cuts).
Outside the Long Branch, the town drunk, Louie could be heard, "Merry Christmas Dodge House! Merry Christmas, horse stables! Merry Christmas, Feed and Grain! Merry Christmas, you wonderful old Long Branch!! With this he waved his liquor bottle and swayed".
Festus, the Deputy Sheriff, walked up to Louie giving him a nudge, "Let's mosey on down to the jailhouse. That ugly green alien critter might double back. Don't you see ....you KNOTHEAD?! It ain't narry safe to be out in Dodge come sundown".Louie barely stirred. An encouraged Festus scowled, one eye open and one eye half-shut, " That varmit's buggy come nar settin' the hol' dad blame town on fire. Don't you see... KNOTHEAD?!
"And the sun's rays will shoot out of your fingers and your toes and the ends of your hair ... am I talking too much"? Festus turned to see Doc. "You mangey ol' Scudderbug. I'm fixin' on bringin' Louie in". Festus scorned.
Festus and Doc stirred the town drunk to his feet. As they staggered down the dusty road Louie waved his liquor bottle declaring, "Hee Haw and Merry Christmas".
