Every time I do something wrong with my neighbours they bring up the topic of "Look at your behaviour" "What you did was wrong ,completely wrong ......" I always need to apologize for my mistake etc, yet they can walk right past you and not say"hello" give you the "cold shoulder" when you have done something they don't like, interrupt your conversation etc etc and NEVER APOLOGIZE.
I am amazed by it all. They even threaten lawsuits, religious presecution, not supporting them on issues of concern to them etc.I want to be my own person and don't like the "your behaviour was totally wrong...look at your behaviour etc " comments.
Why do they use this method? Is this some kind of legal terminolgy or method I don't know about???

They were not raised thinking that making mistakes is the best way to learn. Feel free to make as many mistakes as you want and do whatever you see fit to do. When all is said and done your opinion of you is all that matters. When your older you will look back on your life and smile at all the messed up stuff you did and what you learned from it all and you will realize that the mistakes of youth made you become the person you are and be thankful for those mistakes.
