You are missing the codec (decoder) for playing the version of AVI that was used to create the movie. Go to http://divx.com and download their free divx codec. Should resolve the issue.
(And, no, the "x" in the name has nothing to do with porn, it is a "clean" site)

You are just shortage of CODEC files which comes in many forms. DIVX is one that consist of most common codecs but not all. CODEC is a form of file encoding when the party that create this file used. You system must have the same codec in order to play those files. I usually download DIVX and latest microsoft DIRECTX which also has some codecs within.

Your movie file is missing some codecs, you can download divx player and try to run on that, it will definately help you......

You need the write codecs, go to google search for VLC and download that, it will work then :)

try installing k-lite codac pack u can find it in any p2p like ares , if this codac didnt work install SLD codec pack1 you will find it also in ares if u havnt ares program install it frm download.com or http://aresgalaxy.sourceforge.net/ .
