Don't worry. I knew I was pregnant before I took my test because of the cramping. I also had breasts that hurt SOOO bad. I had cramps for weeks. Just do not take any Advil or anything. I also had light pink discharge for a week or two that scared me, but it was nothing. Probably just from the embryo embedding. If you have heavy bleeding like a period, clots or tissue substance, or bad back pain you should go to the ER or tell your OB that you may be misscarrying. The bad news is...is that even if you are...they cannot do much to stop it if at all. It is too early in the pregnancy. Just relax...it is all part of the drill. Also I did not have any morning sickness. Good luck..I know it is nerve racking as this is my first pregnancy and I am 19 weeks right now. I worried that I did not start showing right away, that I lost a couple pounds, that I did NOT have morning sickness...I thought these were all signs of problems, but I am just paranoid. Relax and enjoy this because it gets better in you 2nd trimester.

Sometimes you can get old blood and that is "normal," but I would certainly check with your OB, especially if you have heavy cramping or heavier bleeding. I will tell you that in early pregnancy, I always felt very crampy - - almost like the feeling of my worst period ever. So that CAN be normal. But still, I'd ask for a sonogram.

hi there
it can e normal to have a little discharge and pains at this point as the baby will be bedding in at this point also your body wont be used to being pregnant and the discharge could just be your body thinking its time for a period. i have 4 kids and this happened with each of them.

Time will tell.
Whatever will be will be.
Get yourself along to the doctors and tell him/her. They can't do much, but might refer you for a scan, but that won't stop you having a miscarriage if that's what mother nature has in store.
Could be implantation bleeding.
Could be chlamydia - after all, to get pregnant you've had unprotected sex. People can harbour chlamydia for years and not know they have it.
Have swabs done. For Strep B too.

They need to know it is an emergency.. or go to the er. thats serious, and you need to be seen by a doctor, you could be having a miscarriage, and they NEED to see you, no matter what. Be forceful on the phone, or just go to the ER right away

Spotting is normal and not of concern.
Period like BLEEDING especially with clots is cause for you to visit the ER.
Many many pregnant woman spot early on. Its nothing to worry about.
