I teach a strength & conditioning class to 9-12 graders. My regular p.e. classes behave really well, but my strength classes have been acting up alot lately. I read them the riot act today & took an entire class period re-going over the rules & consequences from the beginning of the year. I am at wits ends with these 2 classes! Any suggestions are more than welcome!

Have you given out consequences? Call the parents and give a detention or two. If the bad behavior continues then talk to your principal. You can refer the kids for perhaps a Saturday detention.
Keep a log of the behavior and the warnings that you have given. Be sure to write down the dates of the phone calls. When the principal asks what you have done to try to correct the problem you can show him. You will get more support from him this way.
If you have given detentions be sure to tell the parents this. Let the parents know that if the behavior continues then you will have to refer the child to the principal.
