I want to make a cd with a lot of songs so I converted all my songs into mp3 format, but when I want to burn them the same number of songs fits as when the songs were in .wav format. How can I make tons of songs fit on one cd??

I have gotten as many as 157 on one 800mb disk. Granted, some were smaller sound files.

I you have a DVD burner, put them on a DVD. A DVD is 4.7gb and will hold 1100 to 1200 songs if between 3 and 4 mb per song.

You can fit about 250 songs on a data cd. A lot depends on the MP3 compression. My example was from about 260 songs of the 50's purchased online. They were about 3 mb each.

If you are recording in audio cd format then you can only record about 80 minutes.

What u can do is burn it as DATA. And u can fit a whole bunch of songs on there like 50 or more. That's what i do!, my stereo plays mp3's. So i get a CD-r and burn them as DATA into the CD-r and u can fit a whole bunch of songs like i said. Try that, but it has to be Mp3 player compatible by the way.

Audio CDs are time based. The maximum number of songs is 99. However, the actual number of songs that you can fit on a CD will depend on how long the songs are.

You are limited to 74 minutes of audio per recorded audio CD. If you have an 80 minute blank CD-R, you can record up to 80 minutes if your CD recorder drive supports it. (The actual time of an 80 minute CD is 79 minutes and 30 seconds of audio, though.)

To burn an 80 minute CD with MP3 CD Burner, make sure that your CD-recorder supports 80 minute audio CDs. Not all CD-recorders support 80 minute CDRs! If you are not sure, consult your CD-recorder’s documentation or visit the manufacturer’s website for help.

By default, the software will automatically sense the capacity of any blank media that you put into your cd recorder, so if you don't want to think about it, just put in a blank CD while you are creating your song list to burn. (Make sure that the CD size next to "Arrange Song List" is "Audio CD (Detect Size)"

Make sure that the drop down on the "Arrange Song List" is set to Audio CD (80 min)
